Weir Orthopaedics has been delivering high-quality, personalized joint replacements to patients from all over North America since 1987. If you’re a first-time patient, there are two options for visiting us.

INSURANCE PARTICIPATION

Kinesiology Taping

We participate with most major insurances. Please check with your insurance to be sure that your carrier is included. Calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card or visiting your insurance company website can help you find this information.

If you need assistance please feel to call us and we will be glad to assist you. 

PRIVATE PATIENT PROGRAM

Knee Joint Examination

The Weir Orthopaedic Private Patient Program is designed for patients regardless of their insurance situation. We offer a single flat fee for your initial consultation. Surgery is performed for a single flat fee and covers all the professional fees from Weir Orthopedics for a year.

We know traveling for joint surgery is a big commitment to getting the best care. Our staff is ready to help you and your family with accommodations during your stay whether you are from across the state or across the country. Please contact us for more information.

Doctor and Patient

FIRST APPOINTMENT

When you come to your first appointment, please have with you; your insurance cards, a list of current medications and any new patient forms that were mailed to you. Your photo will be taken for identification purposes for your medical chart.
If you have a copay for your visit it will be collected at the time of service.

MEDICAL RELATED FORMS AND PRESCRIPTIONS

We will be happy to fill out any forms that help you receive your wages or if it concerns employment.  There is a service fee for this service.

If you are in need of refills or have questions regarding your medications, call the office during regular business hours. 


Please allow at least 24 hours for your prescription to be refilled as many insurance plans are now requiring authorization for medications.
